And they cannot accept a power outfit and Charley Prude thanks for the memories 1934 2020 signature shirt a pressure suit designed for her ongoing recovery?? Give women a frickin’ break. Serena was beautiful in that athletic outfit. Tennis has always had dress codes. This makes no sense that design alone looks way more appropriate than a skirt/tanktop/collard shirt. I would love to what the exact reason this is not ok in the French Open. Serena has battled discrimination and mistreatment her entire career and has still managed to stay a top player, this time it’s gonna be no different either and her game will do the talking. why are people always accusing black athletes of being disrespectful? I’m starting to wonder if ‘disrespectful’ is the new dog whistle for racists. there’s nothing wrong with her outfit. Remember. This is French. The ones who decreed that women must wear heels on the red carpet at Carnes. When are men going to stop dictating what women can & cannot wear? If Federer had medical complications that meant he needed an altered playing uniform there would be no questions asked, and he would probably be praised for continuing to be one of the greats with a SERIOUS injury. But no, mini skirts are clearly more important than women’s health. Ok, their prerogative to introduce a dress code Wimbledon has historically always been white. I do however remember the hoo-ha when thinking Annabelle Croft wore a white all in one possibly like Serena’s suit probably not for medical reasons. If I remember rightly she was asked not to wear it again. It’s totally understandable.

Best Charley Prude thanks for the memories 1934 2020 signature shirt
All sports have dress codes of some kind, I can completely see why a full-body suit would be overstepping the Charley Prude thanks for the memories 1934 2020 signature shirt mark, whoever was wearing it, or whatever colour it was. Catsuits are not for tennis. So imagine if the men turned up next year in catsuits and you could see their junk swinging around… Or a female competitor wears a catsuit with a more sexual aspect than Serena’s …is that what Tennis is about? …
They have to make restrictions clear for all players. Wimbledon is all white clothing, always has been and the players understand this, with regulations on things such as skirts and shorts. I do not doubt if Serena needs some form of sports technology supportive wear with regards to any blood clots then she’ll be allowed to, however it will need to fall in line with the dress code and she just can’t wear a full bodysuit.
