I live in one of the Lions The patriot party American shirt parks close to Kruger’s open gate. This is normal and happens always. As a matter of fact elephants and buffalos often block the roads. It has nothing to do with lockdown it’s natural“As a ranger in one of Africa’s largest game reserves, Mr. Sowry performs an essential service and continues to work during the lockdown, checking on the wildlife and guarding against poachers.”Nothing wrong with the article or headline. Lions are commonly found lying on the roads early in the mornings in parks before tourist cars arrive. But this photo was taken in the late afternoon, making this scene unusual. During the lockdown, there are no tourists in the park so these lions could have been napping on the road all day. Without lockdown, this would have been unlikely. As for the lions, normally they would be in the bushes because of the traffic but they are very smart and now they are enjoying the freedom of the park without us. Saw many lions on our three trip to African countries and not once did we feel threatened by them even when we had a full pride sleeping under one of our hits while on Safari in the Kalahari desert. Much more interested in impala than humans. Places like the African foundation in Namibia work with locals teaching them how to corral their animals and building good relationships with the locals to ensure they can live alongside the wildlife safely I love that they’re getting a break from all those jeeps chasing them around.

But heartbroken for those who are so dependent on tourism to Lions The patriot party American shirt feed their families. Generally, the roads of the Kruger National Park are busy with cars/buses, etc therefore the wild game cannot relax on the warm tar on the road as there is too much action going on..
Therefore during Lockdown, it’s an opportunity for the wild game to have the Kruger National Park to themselves, as no visitors are going to visit them. My 2 domestic cats and other cats in the cul de sac where I live are doing the same, just taking over the road. I dread it when things are back to normal now once people start racing in and out in their cars again.
