Absolutely loved this man growing up and Pete’s jchweddy balls no one can resist my balls shirt when Lee Mack brought him into Not Going Out has his father Frank, he was a wonderfully funny man. My most deeply heartfelt condolences to his family & friends that loved him. His singalongs with Daniel Ryan on Mount Pleasant were hilarious & brought me lots of smiles & laughter. RIP, Bobby. You will be missed. Loved him back in the Cannon & Ball days. Simple, honest, unoffensive slapstick comedy. More recently, he was outstanding in Mount Pleasant (some fantastically funny, poignant, and heart-wrenching scenes) and of course, brilliantly funny in The Cockfield’s too. The number of lives he will have touched and made that little bit better is immeasurable. The world is a little bit darker today but eternally lighter for his time on this Earth. So very sorry to learn of his death. He was a wonderful man and made so many people laugh. Condolences to his family and friends. Very sad news, he was a terrific funny man who was always faithful to his craft and had little time for the so-called ‘comedians’ of today. He never lost his comic timing and was just wonderful in Not Going Out as Lee Mack’s father, inspired casting.
