I don’t throw away clothes. I always donate. And Proud To Be Union United Steelworkers Logo Stars shirt yes, we should do everything possible to recycle, reuse, recreate things from clothing. We can’t just be creating landfills. Beautiful initiative! I hope that this method is also applicable to as many materials as possible and that we are increasingly aware of the importance of recycling for a better world! This is why I love charity shops so much, get most of my clothes there, and donate unwanted items. Everyone benefits.Fantastic! News of such innovative industries that give so much hope for a better-adapted world is so welcome! Wonderful, incredible. Who would have thought that fashion has this flaw too, but glad it is sorted somewhere. Need such industries around the world. I do not buy new and always use charity shops. It is who you are and not what you wear .a change of attitude is needed. This is not a new idea. Many years ago families relied on reusing most fabric.. quilts, dresses, remade overalls, etc. we would be wise to repair clothing items, shoe coats, and such instead of tossing them. I have clothes from 40 years ago that have been remade to today’s styles. Natural fabrics are so resilient. Repair, restyle, save money, and the planet! I live in Italy and one of the clothing chain stores here has a program that offers a small discount in their store every time you bring in an old piece of clothing for the recycling program.

Those items are sent to the Proud To Be Union United Steelworkers Logo Stars shirt factory to be recycled. I think it would be an even better idea if the recycled fibers were not only used for the fashion industry but also made into durable clothes and blankets for the homeless why has everything have to have a price tag and make even more money for the fashion labels!!!
I admire how this is a collaborative local effort, so not only is recycling the clothes great for the environment, it spreads the employment out over numerous local companies. What an inspiration, not only green thinking but also how to sustain local economies.
