We are paying out hundreds of pounds for accommodation they aren’t using, massive student fees for basically online learning, and no offers of reimbursement for any of the unused facilities and canceled course trips they would have had. My son is currently due to graduate this year and will have paid a fortune out for very little in return and will carry those student debts for many years to come. What about people self-employed or who are looking for jobs? Looks like we’re in the Titanic they rescue the wealthy and leave the poor people. I have a hard-working, conscientious, and caring daughter in a third-year stem subject at a Russell Group Uni. libraries. They have accommodation bills for rental houses never used, any refunds on gym memberships, travel cards, etc, etc. Studying in awful conditions. This seems to be the same for most universities, uni. students, and most degree courses. For all complaining, stop blaming the government and start blaming your fellow man who decided lockdown was ‘useless’ and carried on as normal.
